The hotel has really comfortable rooms where I could keep the door closed all night. The location was perfect for exploring the town and nearby areas, being just a short walk to local pubs and restaurants. The dining experience was very good, especially with kids eating free, making it a better value. However, the quality of the food was among the worst I've ever experienced. Overall, it's a spot worth considering for the good rooms and convenient location, even though the dining experience may leave a bit to be desired.

The hotel has a great location, just a short walk into town and close to surrounding towns and villages. The rooms are clean and modern, equipped with smart TVs and tea making facilities, though there was some noise from children in the evening. The dining experience in the attached Old Nelson pub was fantastic for families, but there could be improvements in the cooked food quality. The overall value for money is good.

The location is excellent, just a ten-minute walk into town where there are plenty of pubs, cafes, shops, and restaurants. However, the outdoor area needed cleaning as there were cigarette ends and general rubbish.

The hotel is wonderfully situated opposite a delightful park, offering a great location for families with kids. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, although access required going down a couple of sets of stairs. Having a restaurant onsite was convenient, but some areas needed cleaning attention. Overall, a lovely stay with a mix of pros and cons.

The hotel offers spacious rooms with proper twin beds, allowing plenty of room to move around comfortably. While the placement of the mirror could be improved to avoid obstruction, I found it to be a minor inconvenience. Unfortunately, the noise from the kitchen and extractor fan and staff chatter could be disruptive, especially being located down a couple of sets of stairs.

The hotel offers clean and quite spacious rooms, providing a great place for a good night's sleep. Despite not having separate twin beds, the rooms were spotlessly clean and cozy, ideal after chilly and rainy days. While the dining experience was a bit of a letdown, the overall value for the price paid was good.
